All men are invited to the breakfast meetings of Union’s Disciples Men at Strickland’s on the first Saturday of every month, at 9:00 AM.  Come and enjoy good food, fellowship, and dedication to our Christian faith. 

While the outside of our church may have changed, the hearts of the people remain.  We welcome you home to Union on Sunday, August 2.  After worship at 11:00 AM, we will have a covered dish lunch.  

On Sunday, August 2, Union will pray for our teachers, students, and administrators as they begin a new school year during our annual “Blessing of the Backpacks.”  We hope that you will bring your school bag and join us on August 6 and throughout the year in remembering all of our educators, administrators, and students.

Area Churches Together Serving (ACTS) provides food and clothing to our neighbors in need.  Union not only donates regularly to ACTS, but we also staff the center every other month, on the fourth Friday of the month.  Union will volunteer again on Friday, August 28.  If you are interested in serving, you can join us at the center (130 East Thompson St., Bogart, 30622) at 9:00 AM. 

Each fifth Sunday, Union has the opportunity to give to our Benevolence Ministry.  This ministry helps assist our neighbors with electric bills, medical bills, rent, and other unique needs to help them through rough times. We hope that you will continue to give (online or by mailing in your contribution) to the Benevolence Fund.

Join the whole Union family for an Intergenerational Chili Cook Off! We will have some local judges and a whole lot of fun. Dig out your old family recipe or work on perfecting a new one; the competition will be legendary.

The first day of Lent begins with Ash Wednesday.  We will gather as a church family at 6:30 that evening in the sanctuary, for a service of repentance, contemplation, and the imposition of ashes.  The 40 days of Lent is a time to intentionally focus on prayer and repentance. 

Before our service, we will join together in the Fellowship Hall for a potluck “Breakfast” at 5:30 PM. Come enjoy breakfast for dinner with the Union family as we begin this Lenten season.

Join Union for our annual Sunrise Service on Easter morning.  We will have a pot-luck breakfast following our service. Union will supply biscuits, and everyone is asked to bring a side dish that requires no heating.
